Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to assess and request authorization for classified endpoints, servers, networks, and security devices. You will apply evolving U.S. government cybersecurity policy and guidance to maintain secure operations.

Responsibilities include auditing, configuring, and monitoring systems, and documenting compliance criteria and test cases aligned with NIST, the IC, and the DoD. TS/SCI with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Experience applying security concepts to information systems
• Knowledge of RMF and system authorization via a GRC tool
• Ability to design and implement security controls
• Knowledge of incident response and data loss prevention
• Understanding of NIST/FISMA requirements for monitoring and reporting
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess and request customer authorization for company-managed classified endpoints, servers, networks, and security appliances
• Audit, monitor, and manage security configurations as defined in policy documents
• Support risk management and compliance through documentation of criteria and test cases
• Collaborate with program system administrators to ensure security procedures are followed
