Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to lead the security posture and compliance readiness across assigned information systems. You will collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, IT and Compliance to ensure controls are implemented and documented for audits and authorization reviews.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with system security plans, authorization activities and continuous monitoring in government-focused environments, including FedRAMP High and DoD

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security, information assurance, cybersecurity compliance or a related role.
• Experience serving as an ISSO, system security analyst, compliance engineer or similar for regulated information systems.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls and the RMF.
• Experience supporting FedRAMP GovRAMP DoD IL requirements or similar programs.
• Hands-on experience developing/maintaining System Security Plans, control narratives and assessment evidence.
• Experience supporting Authorization to Operate activities, continuous monitoring and recurring security assessments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Information Systems Security Officer for assigned systems and environments.
• Maintain understanding of system architecture, data flows, boundaries, dependencies and security controls.
• Develop, review and maintain system security documentation including SSPs and control evidence.
• Support initial and ongoing authorization activities including FedRAMP High and GovRAMP High.
• Coordinate security control implementation and validation with Engineering, DevOps, IT, Security and system owners.
• Manage Plans of Action and Milestones, documenting findings, ownership, remediation and evidence.
• Support continuous monitoring activities, including vulnerability findings and evidence.
• Review changes to identify security and compliance impacts.
• Coordinate responses to third-party assessors, auditors and government stakeholders.
