Commence is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for federal programs. You will partner with the CIO, ISSM, and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST RMF, SP 800‑37, and agency requirements across CMS, VA, DoD, IRS, and DHS/TSA programs.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years as an ISSO or A&A lead for federal information systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP or similar are preferred; DoD 8140-qualifying is acceptable.

• Serve as the designated ISSO for assigned federal systems and coordinate with agency ISSOs, Authorizing Officials, assessors, and prime contractor security teams.
• Lead security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring in accordance with NIST RMF (SP 800-37) across lifecycle activities.
• Prepare and maintain security documentation (SSP, POA&M, risk assessments) and support audits and third‑party assessments.
