Job summary

KBR is seeking an Information System Security Officer to support DoD networks and RMF compliance. The role emphasizes security administration, vulnerability management, and incident response across Windows and Linux servers with STIGs, AD, and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CASP, Security+
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Minimum 10 years of DoD-focused system administration or cybersecurity experience
• Proficient in Windows and Linux server management, security policies, configuration, troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for information systems
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests
• Monitor security alerts and logs; respond to incidents per DoD regulations
• Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) for secure access
• Filter/generate reports from SIEM tools; provide security insights
• Support RMF processes across system lifecycle
• Provide security training and guidance to staff
• Document security processes and remediation efforts
