Job summary

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) seeks an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support design, authorization, and continuous monitoring of DoD/Air Force mission systems. This is a fully remote role.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with a BS in CS/IT, DoD Secret or higher clearance, IAT Level III certification, and RMF/eMASS/ACAS experience. Also required are 2+ years as ISSM/ISSO (or 10+ years in cybersecurity with DoD policy) and 1+ year cloud experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level III certification.
• 2+ years ISSM/ISSO experience or 10+ years cybersecurity with DoD policy experience.
• 1+ year with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
• Experience with RMF, eMASS, ACAS, and Air Force A&A process.
• Experience developing/implementing security policies to support mission systems.

Responsibilities

• Security architecture & engineering across software and system lifecycles.
• Capture and trace information security requirements into baselines and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Coordinate RMF activities with PM, ISO, ISSM, ISSO.
• Support ISCM and Zero Trust maturity through continuous monitoring.
• Assist with incident remediation and POA&Ms with ISSM/ISSO.
