Job summary

Sentar Inc. seeks a RMF & ISSM Support Specialist to provide key RMF and security engineering services for a DHA program. The role is remote, with responsibilities spanning RMF authorizations, continuous monitoring, and security engineering across cloud, container, and application layers.

Required 6–8+ years in DoD/federal cybersecurity, RMF, eMASS experience, proficiency with ACAS/Nessus and STIGs, and strong communication. Active Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience in DoD or Federal environments, with RMF depth.
• Experience with eMASS, SSPs, SCAs, POA&Ms and ATO package maintenance.
• Proficiency with ACAS/Nessus, STIGs/SCAP and HBSS/ESS analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex findings for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure cloud, zero-trust, defense-in-depth solutions across infra, platform, and app layers.
• Develop cloud security baselines and automated policy guardrails using IaC tools.
• Engineer IAM solutions (RBAC/ABAC, MFA, PAM) across cloud and app environments.
• Secure containerized workloads (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and manage secrets and runtime protections.
• Integrate security into CI/CD per DoD DevSecOps; automate SAST/DAST/SCA and image scanning.
• Lead RMF activities: SSP development, SCAs, POA&Ms, ATOs in eMASS/CMRS/COAMS/Phoenix.
• Coordinate with ISSMs, admins, engineers; prepare WSRs and stakeholder updates.
