Job summary
Pavago is seeking an experienced ISP Network Support Engineer to troubleshoot production networks and support multi-WAN environments for US-based clients. You’ll work remotely during U.S.
hours, handling BGP/OSPF routing, SD-WAN, and wireless backhaul with MikroTik, Peplink, Cambium, Ubiquiti, and related gear. Ideal candidates have hands-on ISP/WISP/FTTH experience, strong networking fundamentals, and the ability to communicate technical findings to customers while maintaining high-availability
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in an ISP/WISP production network environment.
- Strong abilities to troubleshoot routing, WAN connectivity, and outages.
- Experience configuring routers, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, NAT, QoS, VLANs, BGP, and OSPF.
- Ability to document issues and communicate findings to customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose connectivity, latency, outages, and routing instability for customer networks.
- Troubleshoot bonded WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, VLAN, and wireless connectivity.
- Configure routers, firewalls, VLANs, NAT, QoS, and VPNs for customer deployments.
- Maintain network diagrams, IP documentation, and device configurations.
- Provide rotating after-hours emergency support.
