Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health at Home is seeking an IS Trainer and Informatics Specialist to develop education for the EMR and other applications used within the agency. The role includes in-office and remote IS training, collaboration with the Epic team, and advising on clinical home health workflows to improve efficiencies.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience, and RN or PT licensure in MA with at least three years in certified home health and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in CS or MIS or substantial equivalent experience.
Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist licensed in Massachusetts.
Minimum three years of certified home health experience including OASIS.
Experience in an education/training role preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze issues, test solutions, and promote resolution.
Develop and revise EMR education materials.
Provide IS training in office and remotely.
Coordinate with Epic team on implementation and education.
Advise Epic analysts on clinical workflow improvements.
Collaborate with Education, Quality and Operations for staff training.
Apply clinical knowledge to improve EMR efficiencies and workflows.
