Job summary

Christie Clinic's Health Informatics department seeks a full-time Informatics Specialist in Champaign, IL to maintain the EMR, deliver user training, and assist with access control and security. You will coordinate with the EMR host and Christie System Administrators for smooth operation and ongoing education.

The role requires one year of clinical experience, Epic trainer credentials within 6–9 months, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an applicable field required.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting.
• One year of teaching/training experience, preferably in a technical, educational, or health care setting.
• Strong background in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the EMR application system.
• Collaborate with EMR host and Christie System Administrators on access and security.
• Provide training and education materials for EMR users.
• Support end users via phone, email, and on-site visits.
• Monitor system utilization and plan for upgrades and enhancements.
• Lead trainer programs and implement new workflows in clinical settings.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, and stakeholder communication.
