Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an IS Trainer and Informatics Specialist to drive education and modification of our EMR and related systems. You will develop EMR training and support across the agency, working with Epic teams to implement enhancements and coordinate ongoing education for staff in a clinical home health setting.

The role requires clinical knowledge, adult learning expertise, and strong communication to ensure compliant documentation and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or MIS, or substantial equivalent experience.
• Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum three years of certified home health experience including OASIS documentation; education role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes issues, tests solutions, and promotes resolution.
• Develops and revises EMR education.
• Supports email/web applications and other office solutions education.
• Provides ongoing EMR and regulatory documentation support to staff.
• Delivers IS training in-office and remotely.
• Coordinates with Epic team to implement and educate on workflows.
• Advises Epic analysts on clinical home health workflow improvements.
• Collaborates with Education/Quality/Operations for staff orientation and support.
• Applies clinical knowledge to improve EMR efficiencies and workflows.
