Job summary

Advarra is seeking an Affiliated Board Member (Non-Scientific) for a remote role in the United States. The position focuses on IRB governance, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the regulatory department to support expedited and full board reviews.

The candidate will participate in board activities, provide guidance to fellow members, and engage with sponsors and investigators to ensure ethical review of human subjects research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• IRB or Clinical Research experience preferred, or minimum 3 years’ healthcare experience in the last 6 years.
• Master’s Degree and CIP certification are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs for the Institutional Review Board.
• Answer questions and assist with day-to-day board operations and triage submissions.
• Attend full board meetings and present protocol-related issues as needed.
• Collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and CROs on regulatory affairs.
