Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced IRB Administrator to supervise development, implementation and evaluation of clinical research trials in alignment with IRB policies.

You will coordinate regulatory requirements, guide investigators, and support audits to ensure federal and institutional compliance. The role offers telecommuting, full-time hours, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary research team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in human research protection administration preferred.
• CIM or CIP certification preferred or eligible before start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IRB review and approvals for research proposals to ensure compliance.
• Interact with OHRP, FDA and other agencies on regulations and audits.
• Oversee day-to-day IRB operations, agendas, packets, minutes and correspondence.
• Develop regulatory training for physicians, coordinators and IRB members.
• Develop and evaluate IRB policies and processes with QA alignment.
• Guide investigators on FDA/OHRP requirements and IRB submissions.
• Support and mentor the IRB Coordinator.
• Assess proposals for exemption under applicable regulations.
• Assess Human Subject Research definitions per OHRP/FDA guidance.
• Review studies for compliance and flag potential issues; escalate as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
