Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an Investment Banking Expert to join as a remote contractor. You will contribute to a customer project focused on financial modeling, valuation, transaction analysis, and industry research and will apply your banking expertise to evaluate real-world financial analysis and help train next-generation AI systems.

Preferred qualifications include Senior Associate or Vice President level experience in M&A, hands-on deal exposure, advanced Excel modeling, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Associate or VP in M&A or investment banking.
• Hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes.
• Strong Excel modeling, valuation and scenario analysis.
• Ability to review and improve client-facing materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company and industry research to support financial analysis and AI training.
• Perform target screening, comparable company analysis, and transaction analysis.
• Build, review, and troubleshoot Excel-based financial and valuation models.
• Prepare and review pitchbooks and client presentation materials.
• Analyze financial materials for numerical errors, valuation issues, and logical inconsistencies.
• Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, assumptions, and transaction sensitivities.
• Provide clear written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts.
