Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Investment Accounting Senior Manager to lead the investment reporting team in a remote capacity. You'll oversee monthly and quarterly closes, ensure US GAAP and US statutory reporting accuracy, and drive process improvements and controls across reporting cycles.

You'll coordinate with auditors and stakeholders, manage a reporting team, and shape the balance sheet reconciliation process while leveraging strong accounting systems proficiency and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with investment accounting under US GAAP and US statutory reporting.
• Proven leadership of month-end and quarter-end reporting cycles.
• Hands-on balance sheet reconciliations oversight.
• Experience managing an accounting or reporting team.
• Strong proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the investment reporting team for monthly and quarterly closes.
• Prepare and review investment schedules under US GAAP and US statutory bases.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain reporting controls, timelines, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Drive process improvements and documentation for investment accounting and reporting.
