Eliassen Group is seeking an Investment Accounting Manager for a remote, consulting role. You will lead the OPR clean workstream, guide the EXL team, and drive remediation efforts within investment accounting and financial operations.

The role requires structured governance, stakeholder management, and team leadership to stabilize operations and achieve milestones. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance plus CPA/CFA preferred; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required.
• CPA, CFA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance) is a plus.
• Proven experience leading complex remediation, transformation, or stabilization programs within investment accounting or financial operations.
• Strong project and program management skills with governance and reporting experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including executive-level reporting.

Responsabilités

• Own and lead the OPR clean workstream as program manager with objectives, timelines and success metrics.
• Assess current-state processes, controls and deliverables to identify failure points and remediation priorities.
• Direct and coach the EXL team to improve execution quality, throughput, and accountability.
• Establish governance routines, status reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder communications.
• Design and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across accounting, operations, technology, and reporting teams.
• Track progress against milestones and escalate risks with mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and operational control frameworks.
