MISUMI Americas, a division of MISUMI Group, seeks a Manager of Inventory Management to own the inventory strategy and decision-making for key SKU categories, defining replenishment, MTO transitions, and dead stock reduction across the business landscape.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Data Management, and IT to translate strategy into actionable steps, surface insights, and support value selling and profitability growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in inventory management or related fields.
• Experience owning inventory strategy and P&L outcomes, including dead stock reduction.
• Strong knowledge of inventory planning principles: safety stock, reorder points, MTO/MTS.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional execution through influence rather than direct authority.

Responsabilités

• Own inventory strategy and decision-making across assigned SKU categories — define replenishment parameters, govern reorder points, monitor excess positions, and determine MTO Stock mode transitions.
• Run the new SKU selection tool, apply Pre-Entry Scoring Gate guidelines, and own the internal stocking request workflow.
• Analyze stock turnover, own the replenishment order list, enforce the no-replenishment-without-demand rule, and lead the Monthly Inventory Health Review.
• Lead dead stock and excess reduction programs across promotion, fire sale/bundling, and disposal tracks.
• Ensure inventory actions align with strategy and contribute health data and recommendations to leadership.
• Lead supplier-facing inventory coordination — MOQ renegotiation, return/rotation agreements, and consignment terms.
• Maintain QMS and coordinate with cross-functional teams across Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Data Management, and IT.
