Job summary

Westman Atelier is seeking an Inventory Planning & Analysis Manager to oversee inventory planning, control, and analysis. The role optimizes availability while balancing cost, demand, and efficiency, manages MRP and translates forecasts into purchasing requirements, coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Sales, and Finance to minimize working capital.

The position reports to the CFO and focuses on inventory health, dashboards, and continuous process improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in inventory planning, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; BI tools a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain MRP system data integrity across BOMs, lead times, safety stock, reorder points.
  • Translate forecasts and production schedules into material and finished goods requirements.
  • Identify shortages or constraints and communicate needs to Purchasing.
  • Analyze inventory performance: turns, days of inventory, aging, obsolescence risk.
  • Develop dashboards/reports to track KPIs; present to CFO and leadership.
  • Support month-end/year-end close, inventory valuation, variance analysis.
