Qualifications

• Must have teaching license and Intervention Specialist license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work during school hours.
• Support students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers.
• Interpret the abilities and disabilities of students.
• Assist in classroom intervention strategies.
• Modify general education curricular.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives.
• Meet student and state achievement goals.
