Pan Atlantic Foundation seeks an International Area Representative to recruit host families and guide them through the application process for international student exchanges. The role emphasizes relationship-building with schools and communities to expand opportunities.

You will conduct home visits, interviews, and orientations while supporting ongoing communication with families and students to ensure successful placements across the program year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfort with in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time well.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Basic computer literacy for completing online documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness of exchange opportunities.
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach activities.
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references for suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone or in-person visits.
• Document all interactions and progress in the online system.
