Job summary

Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative to proactively represent the organization in local communities. You will recruit and support host families, sustain relationships with schools, and promote student exchange through outreach.

The role includes guiding families to the online application, conducting interviews and reference checks, and hosting orientations before students arrive. You will stay connected with families monthly and document progress in the system.

Qualifications

• Must own a computer and have internet access.
• Must have genuine interest in working with teens and families.
• Mature and able to remain objective.
• Be professional in appearance and manner.
• Good counseling skills are helpful for this role.
• Be critically perceptive and objective with host families.
• Must be over age 25.
• Should be well-networked in the community.
• Passion for creating global understanding between cultures.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pan Atlantic Foundation in your community.
• Find Hosts, maintain school relationships, and raise awareness about student exchange.
• Lead Host Family to iwanttohost.org to complete the online application.
• Conduct an in-home interview and check references.
• Perform a Host Family Orientation before student arrival.
• Make monthly check-ins with Hosts and Student and document online.
