Pan Atlantic Foundation seeks an International Area Representative to professionally represent the foundation in your community, recruit host families, and raise public awareness about student exchange programs. You will lead families to the online application, conduct interviews, and perform orientation before students arrive.

Ongoing monthly check-ins and documentation are required to ensure successful placements.

Qualifications

• Must own a computer with internet access.
• Must have a genuine interest in working with teens and families.
• Must be mature and able to remain objective.
• Must be professional in appearance and in manner.
• Good counseling skills are helpful in this job.
• Must be over the age of 25 and well-networked in your community.
• Passion for creating global understanding between cultures.

• Complete an In-home Interview with the host family and check references.

About the International Area Representative position

Duties
• Professionally represent Pan Atlantic Foundation in your community
• Find Hosts, maintain relationships with schools, and raise public awareness about student exchange
• Lead Host Family to website to complete the online application: iwanttohost.org
• Complete an In-home Interview with the host family and Check References
• Perform a Host Family Orientation before the student arrives
• Monthly Check in – call or visit the Hosts and Student once a month and document online

Compensation
• $1000 per placement for academic year student, $800 for one semester student
• Opportunity for Travel to our Annual Pan Atlantic Foundation Conference!! (all expenses paid!) (Match 4 students with families to Qualify!)
• Additional Incentives may be offered throughout the year as well

Personal Requirements
