Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills with independent thinking and creativity.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• 3+ years of hospital or physician practice billing experience.
• EPIC billing experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• A/R management expertise.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personable service to physician clients, patients, and partners to ensure relations and financial clearance across payer types.
• Follow up on payments, process refunds, and manage funds distribution.
• Prepare billing packages and documentation for international patients and programs.
• Collaborate with international patient coordinators to resolve account issues.
• Provide cost estimates and maintain CPT codes and related costs.
• Identify and improve specialty billing processes within International Programs.
• Update billing policies to ensure regulatory and payer contract compliance.
• Communicate with clients as the single point of contact and support AR objectives.
• Assist with data collection for ad hoc analyses and budget-related tasks.
