Job summary

Motive is seeking an Internal Communications Director to lead how we inform, align, and inspire employees across the company. This senior individual contributor owns Motive's internal narrative and cadence, translating strategy into clear messaging and leading flagship moments like All Hands.

You'll partner with executives to sharpen their voice, build multi-channel storytelling, and ensure internal and external messaging stay aligned across audiences, channels, and time.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in internal or executive communications.
• Proven experience producing All Hands and executive forums.
• Hands-on in video communications and multi-channel programs.
• Strong executive presence; advise and write for C-suite.
• Excellent storytelling and writing; translate priorities clearly.
• Experience with crisis/change communications with Legal.
• Strong PM and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced env.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy of Motive's internal communications program.
• Lead All Hands and company-wide forums from script to delivery.
• Develop internal video communications with executive updates.
• Expand channel mix and cadence beyond one-off announcements.
• Manage internal channels (Slack, email, video) for targeted messaging.
• Draft executive communications and briefing materials.
• Collaborate with Legal and Corporate Communications on plans.
• Ensure internal-first alignment across channels.
• Develop feedback mechanisms to measure sentiment and improve.
• Build relationships with executives and cross-functional leaders.
