Job summary

RHSC is seeking an Internal Audit Analyst to evaluate processes, transactions, records, metrics, and systems to identify risk, ensure compliance, and improve the effectiveness of operations and controls.

The role is fully remote with residency in Michigan; candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Okemos or Farmington Hills for occasional team meetings, training, and collaborative sessions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in quality control or audits.
• Familiar with audit software and sampling techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determines or validates accuracy, consistency, and compliance of transactions in one or more business domains using simulations, sampling, and data reviews.
• Participates in external audits or assessments, including tracking requests and gathering responses.
• Investigates and quantifies impact and risk of problems, exceptions, and improvements identified in internal audit.
• Documents and reports the results of internal and external quality reports, assessments, audits and remediation verification.
• Documents and reports problems, exceptions, or opportunities for improvements to other departments.
• Maintains documents and records according to retention policies and departmental standards.
• Assists in evaluating and improving audit criteria, procedures, and dashboards.
