Role Description

This is a remote internship role for an Intern Assistant at Family Benefits Center. The Intern Assistant supports daily administrative tasks such as organizing client information, preparing basic documentation, and assisting with scheduling and follow‑ups. The role includes helping with data entry, updating internal records, and supporting the team with research on insurance plans and industry trends. The Intern Assistant may also assist with creating simple client communications, tracking inquiries, and coordinating digital files and resources. This internship offers hands‑on experience in a professional insurance environment, with opportunities to learn about client service and health coverage solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for professional emails, documentation, and client‑facing materials.
• Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) and willingness to learn new tools.
• Attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach to data entry, documentation, and follow‑up tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a dispersed team.
• Interest in insurance, health coverage, or related fields; prior coursework or exposure is helpful but not required.
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and respect for confidentiality when handling client information.
• Current student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field preferred, but all relevant backgrounds are welcome.
