Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking an Interim Counsel for Technology Transactions to deliver full-time support on a 3+ month assignment, primarily in a remote capacity for a rapidly growing AI-driven company.

You will draft and negotiate complex licensing, collaborations, and strategic partnerships, advise on IP, data privacy, and AI-related matters, and coordinate with BD and R&D teams on high-value deals. Eight or more years of experience with in-house exposure is required.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of legal experience focused on technology transactions.
• Experience handling bespoke licensing, collaboration, and strategic partnership agreements between technology companies.
• In-house experience, preferably in a high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex technology transactions, including licensing, strategic partnerships, collaborations, and other sophisticated commercial arrangements between tech companies.
• Supporting business development and R&D teams in structuring strategic relationships involving emerging technologies.
• Managing transaction diligence and coordinating with internal and external teams on high-value, non-templated technology transactions.
