Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group seeks an experienced Interim Corporate Counsel to support a fast-growing technology company. This remote role (EST) partners with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure compliance across consumer protection, data privacy, and industry-specific laws.

J.D. required with active bar membership (Florida preferred); strong contract negotiation and cross-functional advisory skills essential for complex agreements and regulatory

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• Florida bar membership preferred.
• Experience advising on consumer-facing products and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Advise on product features to ensure compliance with consumer protection, data privacy, and related laws.
• Manage outside counsel and lead regulatory updates across the business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate API, vendor, marketing, and consulting contracts.
• Provide cross-functional legal guidance to product, engineering, and business teams.
• Navigate AI-related product features and evolving regulatory regimes.
