Professional Alternatives is seeking an experienced Interim / Fractional Chief Financial Officer to provide short-term financial leadership during a transition. The CFO will partner with the CEO, executive leadership team, and Controller to maintain visibility, support decision-making, and prepare for a permanent hire.

This role suits a senior finance leader comfortable in lean, fast-moving environments, handling cash management, forecasting, analysis, and board reporting while balancing

Qualificações

• Prior CFO, interim CFO, fractional CFO or senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong cash forecasting, FP&A and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth, lean environment.
• Experience with debt facilities and financial covenants.
• Able to operate effectively without a large Finance team.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ability to partner with a Controller.
• Experience presenting financial analysis to CEOs and executive teams.
• Comfortable moving between strategic and hands-on finance work.

Responsabilidades

• Cash forecasting and maintaining short- and medium-term cash forecasts with visibility into liquidity.
• Identify cash constraints and financial risks early.
• Model the financial impact of significant operating and strategic decisions.
• Monthly reporting and executive analysis with clear variance insights.
• Support board, lender, and investor reporting as needed.
• Debt and covenant management and monitoring.
• FP&A and decision support with forecasts and scenario models.
• Support budgeting, near-term planning, capital allocation, hiring, and growth investments.
• Inventory, working capital and capital investment analysis, including warehouse expansion decisions.
• Coordinate with outside counsel, auditors, banks, and other advisors; fundraising or diligence activities.
