Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager to drive day-to-day interconnection processes for a portfolio of solar projects. Remote work with collaboration across internal teams and external utilities. Responsibilities include managing interconnection negotiations, coordinating system studies, and tracking cost, schedule, and risk.

Strong PM, communication, and negotiation skills required. Bonus for WECC interconnection experience and tariffs knowledge; fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in power generation interconnections.
• Experience with WECC interconnection processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of interconnection tariffs and agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage interconnection process and negotiations for assigned development projects, from siting to execution.
• Coordinate required power flow simulations, models, and congestion studies.
• Track interconnection commercial arrangements to optimize cost, schedule, and risk.
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, ISOs, and industry representatives.
• Provide input to budget forecasting and project underwriting at key development-stage gates.
• Support Project Delivery during construction by tracking milestones and required studies.
