Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a technical leader to manage the interconnection process for grid-scale Solar PV, Onshore Wind, and BESS projects. You will oversee HV/ substation design, equipment selection, and cable/line design from concept through construction.

You will also participate in feasibility studies, supervise external consultants and EPC contractors, and provide essential support during grid connection applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Strong interconnection experience with HV design or third-party designers.
• Experience in interconnecting utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the interconnection process for grid-scale solar, wind and storage projects.
• Oversee substation design, equipment selection and high voltage/medium voltage design.
• Supervise external consultants, engineers and EPC contractors through design and construction.
• Provide support during grid connection application and feasibility studies from a cost perspective.
