Job summary

MHS Lift is seeking an Integrated Solutions Systems Project Manager to lead the implementation of warehouse automation, conveyor, robotics, and material handling solutions for clients from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

You will oversee projects from concept through completion, ensuring successful implementation while exceeding customer expectations, with travel up to 50% and a strong focus on safety and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in automation, material handling, warehouse systems, robotics, AMRs/AGVs, conveyor systems, or related industrial environments.
• Experience managing technical design and system implementation projects.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, CAD layouts, and system designs.
• Strong understanding of warehouse automation and material handling technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• PMP Certified is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for business travel.
• Approximately 50% travel (25% local/regional, 25% national).

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Define project scope and objectives with customers, sales, engineering, and executive leadership.
• Manage implementation of warehouse automation and integrated material handling systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout implementation.
• Support continuous improvement and help drive adoption of project management best practices.
