Bluebird Kids Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage insurance verification and medical billing tasks across our pediatric practices. Qualifications

• Insurance verification and medical billing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance eligibility for new and existing appointments three days ahead using automated checks.
• Contact payers proactively and inform families to resolve issues before visits.
• Serve as primary escalation contact for pre-visit insurance issues.
• Coordinate with reception and scheduling teams on day-of-visit eligibility.
• Follow up post-visit on PCP assignment or COB issues with payers and patients.
