Responsibilities

• Reviews insurance eligibility and coverage for new and existing appointments three days out.
• Contacts payers and communicates with families to resolve insurance issues before visits.
• Acts as primary escalation contact for central scheduling on pre-visit insurance issues.
• Serves as main point of contact for practice-based teams on day-of-visit eligibility questions.
• Follows up post-visit on PCP assignment or COB discrepancies with payers and patients.
