Job summary

Crump is seeking an Internal Insurance Strategist for its Financial Institutions channel. This remote role involves meeting client and advisor needs, presenting life, long-term care, and disability income insurance solutions, and guiding cases through underwriting.

Candidates should hold a current 6/63 FINRA registration and have agent-of-record experience. The position emphasizes discovery, accurate applications, product education, and a solid grasp of estate and business planning concepts; a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or 3+ years handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform.
• Active Life and Health Insurance license required.
• Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. e.g. 6/63).
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through discovery, including personal or business needs and goals, current financial status, and describe solutions including life, long term care and disability income insurance to meet client needs.
• Complete insurance applications and take responsibility for following cases thorough the underwriting process.
• Explain to clients and advisors how various insurance products work, the differences between product types, and their advantages.
• Explain the basics of estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging, insurance planning.
