Thank you for your interest in The Mansfield Agency. We are currently seeking licensed or license-eligible individuals to join our team as remote Life & Health Insurance Sales Consultants. This is a contract-based, commission-only position offering significant earning potential for those committed to client service and ethical sales practices.

Position Overview

As a Sales Consultant, you will work directly with individuals and families to provide insurance coverage solutions that meet their needs. All appointments are conducted virtually via phone or video conferencing. Leads are provided and pre-qualified — there is no cold calling required.

This role is suitable for professionals seeking flexible, remote work in the financial services and insurance industry, with the option to work part-time or full-time depending on availability and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact and schedule appointments with individuals who have submitted requests for insurance information
• Conduct virtual consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable life and health insurance products
• Maintain accurate records of client communications and follow-up activity
• Participate in ongoing virtual training and compliance sessions
• Maintain an active life and health insurance license or complete the licensing process (support available)

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage time independently
• Willingness to complete state licensing requirements (licensing support provided)
• Previous experience in customer service, financial services, or insurance is a plus but not required
• Professional conduct and a commitment to client confidentiality and compliance

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is commission-based and directly tied to submitted and approved insurance applications.

• Average compensation is approximately $500–$600 per issued policy
• Part-time consultants typically earn between $30,000 and $60,000 annually
• Full-time consultants commonly earn between $80,000 and $180,000 annually
• There is no cap on commission-based earnings

Please note: This is not a salaried role however it does include benefits such as life/health insurance, and retirement benefits.
