Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard is seeking an Insurance Regulatory Attorney to join our Legal team in Little Rock, AR. You will support our national insurance regulatory practice, working with experienced attorneys and handling P&C matters including Surplus Lines, holding company transactions, and compliance reviews.

The position emphasizes rigorous legal research, clear client communication, and collaboration with partners and associates.

Qualifications

JD required from an accredited law school.
At least three years of relevant experience in insurance regulatory or related practice.
Strong legal research, writing and analytical abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive legal research using online databases, libraries, and other resources, including AI-enhanced tools.
Ensure that all legal documents comply with applicable laws and regulations and accurately reflect the client’s intentions and interests.
Collaborate with partners, associates, compliance professionals, and other team members to deliver high-quality services.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a primary contact with regular updates on matter developments.
