Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections and complete underwriting reports across our coverage territory.

You will drive to client sites, photograph and observe facilities, document exposures and improvements, and finalize findings in online underwriting reports. Travel may include overnight stays depending on location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in loss control or with major carriers.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines (Property, General Liability, Inland Marine).
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes is preferred.
• Must have good writing, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building construction, square footage, hazards and ISO classes.
• Complete assignments/reports on time and meet due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspections.
• Coordinate inspection times with insured representatives on site.
• Prepare and report inspection results, upload photos and diagrams.
• Travel to insured locations; overnight travel may be required.
