Job summary

AAA Northeast in Union, NJ, is seeking a Field Insurance Agent to sell personal lines insurance by phone, online, and in branch locations. You will receive comprehensive training and support to obtain licensing, with all costs covered by AAA Northeast.

Start date: November 16, 2026. Training is remote for 4-6 months, followed by a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and a rotating Saturday shift. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years Sales or customer service experience.
• Insurance sales experience preferred.
• Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online.
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data.
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs.
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system.
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents.
