Jobgether is seeking an experienced insurance defense attorney to manage high-value matters with minimal supervision. You will lead strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation while maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with Western Pennsylvania colleagues.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, professional autonomy, and growth through regional client development and leadership opportunities within a fully remote, full-time framework.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and Pennsylvania license.
• Significant experience in insurance defense litigation with ability to manage complex cases independently.
• Proven experience handling high-value litigation and high-exposure claims.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical reasoning, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience managing discovery, conducting and defending depositions, and supporting trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex insurance defense litigation from assessment through settlement, trial, or final resolution.
• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies tailored to case objectives and exposure.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and other documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, manage discovery, and oversee court proceedings and deadlines.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, settlements, and trial preparation.
• Provide clear, timely legal advice and updates on strategies and exposure to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys in Western Pennsylvania to coordinate casework and share expertise.
• Contribute to regional business growth by developing client relationships and networking.
• Explore opportunities to develop a personal practice and broaden leadership or management responsibilities.
