Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active Pennsylvania law license; substantial insurance defense litigation experience.

Responsibilities

Independently manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, including higher-value and complex litigation.
Develop case strategy, draft pleadings/motions/briefs/discovery, conduct and defend depositions.
Handle court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, trial preparation.
Take ownership of significant litigation matters with minimal supervision.
Maintain relationships with insurance carriers, claims professionals, self-insured entities, and corporate clients.
Help expand insurance defense presence throughout Western Pennsylvania, build regional relationships.
