Jobot is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney for a remote role with the option to use the Fort Worth office. The position offers a unique compensation structure based on collections, with potential to earn up to 55% of qualifying collections.

Responsibilities include handling complex civil defense matters, managing discovery and trial preparation, and collaborating with insurance carriers and clients while maintaining autonomy over a caseload.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license required.
• Experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong litigation skills including depositions, motions, hearings, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance defense and general liability litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and substantive motion practice.
• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability, damages, and exposure.
• Work directly with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with experienced litigators while maintaining autonomy over your caseload.
• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings as needed.
