Job summary

Digitech is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Account Resolution Specialist to manage and resolve insurance claims after submission to commercial carriers. This remote role requires reviewing pending/denied claims and following through to payment, with strong analytical and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Work hours align with Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) Plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Type at least 40 WPM with accuracy.
• Experience handling high-volume workloads and deadlines.
• Structured environment with call monitoring and metrics is helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding insurance claims with carriers.
• Investigate on-hold or denied claims and follow up to release processing.
• Analyze denials and determine resolution steps such as appeals or corrections.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain status and explanations.
• Prepare and submit documentation to support adjudication.
• Draft and submit appeals with proper documentation and guidelines.
• Maintain notes in billing systems for follow-up activities.
• Identify trends and escalate to improve processes.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
