Ensemble Health Partners seeks a remote Bedded Insurance Authorization Specialist to manage initial and concurrent insurance authorization for hospital admissions. You will verify coverage, review benefits, and secure required authorizations to support medical necessity while minimizing denials.

The role requires strong knowledge of CPT codes, insurance rules, and effective communication with payors and care teams. Remote nationwide work with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with insurance companies and/or medical authorizations.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance authorization requirements, contract benefits, CPT codes and medical terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verify active insurance coverage for procedures and admission.
• Determine benefits, deductibles, coinsurance and patient liabilities; notify patient of amounts due.
• Obtain and maintain timely insurance authorizations; reduce denials and ensure compliance.
