Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate day‑to‑day service activities. Remote/hybrid work is available within IOA’s policy, with on-site requirements possible at times.

Ideal candidates have an active P&C license, 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), and strong service, analytical, and communication skills to support client needs and grow the book of business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team and ensure data accuracy in agency systems.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and present proposals to clients.
