Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a field-based installer/project coordinator to manage window and door replacement projects from measurement to installation. You will work closely with homeowners, crews, and sales reps to ensure on-time delivery, accurate scope, and positive customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes precise measurements, contract alignment, and proactive communication while supporting installation teams and resolving day-of-issues across residential projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school degree with at least 5 years in home improvement or related field.
• Experience in customer service with win/win problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with installation crews and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure dimensions and plan installation for windows and doors from a remote location.
• Submit complete job files with labor duration and materials for installations.
• Verify sales contract details and align expectations with product features and installation process.
• Support sales reps to define project scope and ensure pricing reflects the scope of work.
• Communicate job specifics to installation crews and provide advance notice of unique factors.
• Troubleshoot on installation day and collaborate with homeowners to resolve issues.
• Provide feedback to sales when a job goes on hold and assist in resolution.
• Approve additional installation labor when required.
• Supervise crews on job specifics and address questions during installation.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Effectively manage window and door replacement projects starting at technical measure and job specifications through the installation process to ensure Homeowner Delight, while focusing efforts to meet and/or exceed budget expectations.

Position Responsibilities

• Accurately measure the dimensions and determine installation processes for windows and doors, using technology from a remote location.
• Completes and submits required job files that are complete, correct and timely providing quality handoff to internal customers including determining labor duration and installation materials needed to successfully complete the job.
• Confirms details within the sales contract to assure customer expectations are aligned with product features and options and installation process.
• Provide support to sales reps to define project scope and ensure the scope of work is reflected in pricing and contract documents.
• Communicate with Installation crew on specifics for the jobs, providing advanced notice of unique factors the crew will need to be aware of with the job.
• Troubleshoot issues with installation crew on day of installation; this may include onsite support to the job and/or working directly with Homeowners to resolve installation process issues.
• Provides feedback to sales representatives when a job goes on hold, works with reps to resolve questions in a quick and efficient manner.
• Approves any additional installation labor required to complete the job.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Provides direction to crews on job specifics and questions during installation.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and/or Competency Requirements

• High School Degree
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the home improvement or other closely related field.
• Previous customer service experience, especially win/win problem solving, and conflict resolution skills required.
• Valid Driver’s license (subject to internal DMV review)
• Previous experience as an RbA IPM or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction techniques.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Pay Range

$69,840.00 - $104,760.00

Profit Sharing: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
