Job summary

Escalent is seeking an experienced Insights Director for a freelance, 1099 engagement to lead the development of insights and storytelling, and to own the data analysis and reporting phases of project work. This senior, project-based role involves presenting client-ready insights, applying diverse analytical techniques, and delivering high-quality materials on time.

You will collaborate with Insights, Project Management, and Sales teams, work remotely, and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor degree in a related field.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience within the desired industry or sector.
• Highly skilled in analytics functional skillset.
• Breadth of research methodology expertise including survey/instrument design.
• Able to distill findings into meaningful insights.
• Formation of story architecture.
• Highly skilled in all aspects of reporting (deliverables).
• Prescriptive/consultative writing—reports and client communications.
• Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to contribute to research design or proposal writing if needed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• High professionalism and situational awareness, especially with clients.
• Highly collaborative with Escalent staff across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or execute the development of insights and storytelling and complete the data analysis and reporting phases of projects.
• Work closely with Escalent staff in Insights, Project Management, and Sales & Strategic Growth to deliver project solutions.
• Leverage a variety of methods and tools and collaborate with Centers of Excellence as needed.
• Apply expertise to collaborate with Escalent staff across project engagements.
