Job summary

Regions Hospital in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Health Information Coding Analyst II to join our remote coding team. You will assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and MS-DRG/APR-DRG groupings for inpatient encounters across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion to support reimbursement and performance metrics.

The role focuses on inpatient coding analysis, accurate data for reimbursement, and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Health Information or coding-related credential.
• 3–5 years of ICD-10/CPT coding experience.
• Credentials such as CCA, CIC, COC, CCS, CPC, RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete coding analysis of each patient stay.
• Provide accurate diagnoses, procedures and data for reimbursement and statistics.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
