Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HIM required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS coding experience preferred.
• CPC/CCS/RHIT/RHIA/CIC credentials upon hire are required.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient records using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS per guidelines.
• Enter data in 3M encoder/Epic with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain productivity and quality within established standards.
• Comply with AHIMA Standards and PHI confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the CDI team and support clinical documentation integrity.
• Stay current with coding guidelines and hospital policies.
