Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking an IP Coding Specialist to provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across 4+ specialties for one or more clients. The role supports remote work and requires independence in coding tasks.

The ideal candidate will hold CCS certification, have at least 2 years of experience, and demonstrate strong analytical skills with proficiency in EMR and billing systems, Excel, and Outlook. High accuracy and adherence to privacy standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through either the AAPC or AHIMA
• CCS Certification is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Proficient with EMR, Billing systems and related software
• Current CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references on hand
• Regular, predictable attendance and punctuality required
• Aggressive accuracy and quality scores (95%+) required
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Able to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 4+ specialties for multiple clients
• Work from home and operate independently in coding tasks
• Analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes with highest specificity
• Code surgical procedures typical of ER settings when applicable
• Apply ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT and HCPCS codes accurately
• Maintain quality and productivity standards (95%+)
• Communicate professionally with clients to support business interests
• Assist leadership with reports and potential auditing activities
