Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and DRG assignment.
• Experience auditing inpatient records for accuracy and compliance.
• Familiarity with CMS IPPS regulations and payer audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% pre-bill and targeted post-bill audits of inpatient cases.
• Identify coding gaps, DRG integrity issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide education and guidance to coding staff and CDI partners.
